Dramatis Personae (TO:LOUTE)
The following is a list of notable people and figures in the LOUTE universe, circa 2032.
Kingdom of Kerolon
Kerolonian Imperial Family
Mesmo Kerilim Kerolon is a tabulon and the eighth monarch of Kerolon; fe is of the Uingffh-exclusive somale sex, meaning fe uses fe/fir pronouns. Mesmo embodies typical Kerolonian political attitudes, being socially progressive but also supportive of Kerolonian interstellar expansionism. However, these beliefs often conflict with fir love for fir 12 children, which is genuine.
Aras Kerilim Kerolon is a tabulon and the fraternal twin wester (somale sibling) of Mesmo. Fe and fir wester Mesmo used to have an intense rivalry over the right to the Kerolonian throne. This rivalry seems to have died down after Mesmo ascended to the throne, but some allege that Aras has since begun interacting with radical far-right ideologies advocating for the erosion of the rights of non-Uingffhian species.
Jool Ponsolo Kerolon is a tabulon and the oldest child of Mesmo, being Kerolon's first prince. However, Jool is adopted and thus is ineligible for the throne due to his lack of royal blood; he was adopted at the insistence of Prince Sarnus, who had developed a strong bond with Jool after Jool ran away from his abusive noble family. Jool himself has since made his presence known as a strong and fierce Star Navy officer, ascending to the rank of Grand Admiral in the Order of Sorellius.
Sarnus Robau Kerolon is a tabulon and the second prince of the Kerolonian Kingdom and Mesmo's oldest biological child; this fact makes him the crown prince of the Kingdom. Sarnus himself is close friends with Jool, but has the opposite personality: he is a seemingly friendly, jovial, and sometimes eccentric person known for his many piercings. Sarnus is also exceptionally intelligent, being known for his work in diplomacy. However, some believe that Prince Sarnus has more complicated plans behind the scenes.
Urlum Eudae Kerolon is a tabulon and the third princess of Kerolon. A child prodigy rivaled in intelligence only by her brother Sarnus and the other Grand Admirals, Urlum initially pursued civil engineering before becoming an admiral of the Star Navy after her younger sister Nisc, whom she dotes on, was injured in the Battle of Bor. Princess Urlum has a very strong sense of justice and will stop at nothing to achieve her progressive goals, even if it means destroying everything.
Neidon Galileo Kerolon is a tabulon and the fourth princioso (somale prince/princess) of Kerolon. Neidon lives a very sheltered and comfortable life in the Korroway Palace, lovingly teasing fir siblings and friends about their love lives. However, having been diagnosed with autism at a very young age, Neidon has developed a strong sense of empathy and wishes to learn more about the world - both the good and the bad.
Salus Dulusranauble Kerolon is a tabulon and the fifth princioso of Kerolon. Fe has a very extravagant personality and is staunchly loyal to Kerolon, being involved in the diplomatic aspects of Kerolonian colonialism. Fe does so out of a sense of love and protection for fir siblings, but is disliked for fir apprehension towards non-Uingffhians. Fe is a noted artist as well.
Jova Ymir Alexiene Kerolon is a tabulon and the sixth princess of Kerolon. She was diagnosed with a disease known as the Azure Decay at a young age, which took many of her limbs. However, this has not stopped her from wanting to protect her family; she acquired prosthetic limbs and continued studying the spear for the sake of her sisters Lidia and Norma, her best friends.
Kronos Kernis Kerolon, a tabulon, is the rather charismatic and smug seventh princioso of the Kingdom of Kerolon. Fe is involved in managing agriculture and other industries of Kerolon. But due to fir rather poor treatment of workers, some allege that fe is colluding with the Osuwa-based Modera Group of megacorporations.
Lidia Nidaros Marina Kerolon is a tabulon and the eighth princess of Kerolon. Bonding with her sisters Jova and Norma at a young age, Lidia swore to protect her siblings and her country, learning a variety of weapons including her iconic twin swords to guard the palace. However, she is also an avid writer on the side and wishes to see progressive change in Kerolonian society.
Kitanis Emmar Kerolon is a tabulon and the ninth princet (non-trinary prince/princess) of Kerolon. Like Neidon, Kitanis lives a very sheltered and luxurious life, maintaining a relatively low public presence. However, she has a heart of gold and, like Neidon, easily empathizes with others, though she is clouded by her high naivety.
Norma Rodewald Kerolon is a tabulon and is the tenth princess of Kerolon. She developed a close bond with Jova and Lidia as a child. But while Lidia and Jova learned combat skills to protect each other and their country, Norma pursued history and non-Uingffhian rights activism, seeking to protect her sisters and Kerolon by raising awareness of their issues.
Poseidon Kreln Kerolon is a tabulon and the 11th prince of Kerolon. Poseidon has an adventurous spirit and looks up to Jool and the other Grand Admirals; he wishes to become a Grand Admiral himself some day and discover new systems for Kerolon. However, due to his privileged background, he is oblivious to the effects of Kerolonian expansionism on non-Uingffhians and common people.
Nisc Elizer Kerolon is a tabulon, the 12th princess of Kerolon, and Mesmo's youngest child. She grew very attached to her older sister Urlum and, like her, showed high intelligence at a young age. Nisc began pursuing diplomacy, but was tragically left traumatized and paraplegic during a diplomatic visit to the planet Bor, where tensions between Osuwa and Morbidia exploded and led to the impacts of two space colonies on Bor's surface. But now, having witnessed the horrors of war, Nisc is determined to do her best to stop further conflicts and achieve the justice that Urlum desires without resorting to destruction and violence.

She is the oldest of Kelaris' adopted children.
Lyrne rei Kerbos is a tabulon, a Grand Admiral of Kerolon's Order of Kerbos, and one of Kelaris' adopted children.
