Dunn Parliamentary Constituency

In Sainte Genevieve elections, Dunn is one of the country's sixteen Parliamentary constituencies, and represents the whole of County Dunn. The constituency was one of the original fourteen created when Sainte Genevieve gained independence in 1949. From 1949 to 1966, Dunn returned five MPs. This was reduced to four beginning with the 1966 General Election, and has remained so ever since.

For most of its existence, Dunn was a rural constituency, but has seen major development in its southern portion because of its proximity to Rossport. Rossport was historically a Conservative stronghold, but now three of its four MPs are Social Democrat.
