Civilian 550 model
The Ferrari 550M is a vehicle produced by Ferrari for the Royal Army of Europa. Development began in 2003 and concepts were shown at the Paris Auto Show in 2006. The military version began its career in 2008 and is now used as the Army's main vehicle (similar to the Humvee or WWII Jeep).
In 2010 a special 550 civilian version was built and auctioned off to raise funds for Haiti earthquake victims.
