The discography of Genesys, a Sierran rapper and label executive, consists of six studio albums (three posthumously released), four compilation albums, two collaborative albums (one posthumously released), and 41 singles (11 as a featured artist). Throughout his career, Genesys has sold 65 million records worldwide. He has scored three No. 1 albums on the Sunset 100 and five No. 1 albums on Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums charts. In 2002, the Jameson Book of World Records hailed him as the then Best-selling artist of rap in the US. According to the Recording Industry Association of America, he has sold 24.3 million albums, as well as an additional 31.7 million with hip-hop groups A.N.D. and The Throne, making him the third best-selling hip-hop artist in history (behind Slim Suspicious and Nos Sheff).

Shortly after Genesys left A.N.D., he would go on to release his debut album, Progressive Youth, through The Prestige records in 1993. It sold about 35,000 units in its first week and debuted at number 20 on the national charts, but with chart failure and rising tensions among the label's roster, Genesys would be dropped and become a free agent. After signing a contract with Interscope Records, he would go on to sign numerous rappers from the underground Styxie hardcore scene to his new label nuwrld, forming the rap collective The Throne. After a short period of incarceration, the rapper would release his second studio album, Bastard (1995), which became the rapper's first number one record, later receiving four platinum certifications from the RIAA. The Throne released their debut album Truly Humbled Under God that same year. The album reached the number nine spot on the Sunset 100 and reached top-20 spots on various charts internationally. The album received a double-platinum certification from the RIAA in 2003.

In 1998, Genesys released a double-album, The World Is Yours, which sold 1.12 million copies in its first week of distribution, breaking records for the fastest-selling hip hop album of all-time at the time and becoming the eighth fastest-selling solo album in the Kingdom of Sierra. With more than five million copies sold, the album was the third best-selling record of the year in Sierra, later being certified Diamond in North America. The album would be his last release while alive before being killing in an armed robbery.

Posthumously, Genesys' fourth album, God Don't Make Mistakes (1999), debuted at number one on the Sunset 100 and reached the top spot on various charts internationally, as it went on to sell over seven million copies worldwide. In the Kingdom of Sierra, God Don't Make Mistakes was the highest-selling album of the year, with sales of almost four million copies. Since release, the album has become reviewed as one of the best rap albums of the 20th century by various publications such as the Porciúncula Times and Music Box Magazine. His fifth album, Faith, was released in 2000 and peaked at number 3 on the Sunset 100. Posthumous vocals from the late rapper would be included in The Throne's second studio album, M.O.B., released in tribute of the rapper in 2002. The rapper's last studio release, 400 Years (2002), debuted at number six in the Kingdom of Sierra, being certified platinum and selling three million copies internationally.
