The Inquisition of Paradise Island, also called the Paradise Island Imperial Inquisition is a secret organisation that exists outside the standard administrative hierarchy of the Empire of Paradise Island. It is the principal intelligence, counterintelligence, security and secret police agency of the Empire of Paradise Island, responsible for counterintelligence, foreign intelligence and security. Its members are known as Imperial Inquisitors or simply Inquisitors and they are task to hunt down Anti-Imperial dissidents, heretics and rogue sorcerers.

Organization

The Inquisition was formed from five orders, or branches, that were each responsible for carrying out different types of operations. They were trained in separate tasks, though different orders constantly worked together and relied on each other during operations, eliminating and preventing any sort of rivalries. The Inquisition was usually used to preform different tasks, but also carried out the Emperor's wishes, including taking out heretics and rogue sorcerers.

Order of Operations

The Order of Operations, was the largest and most active order within the Inquisition. They carried out general operations, and constantly worked jointly with the other orders on a variety of missions across the Infinite Cosmos. They were known as the least trained branch of the Inquisition, but was also the oldest. It's operatives were drawn from the best stormtroopers and Imperial Commandos. Operations used some of the most advanced technology in the Inquisition.

Order of Analysis

The Order of Analysis, nicknamed the Overseers, was the order responsible for analyzing, decoding, and organizing information collected by the Order of Intelligence and the outer network of spies. Their basic job was to determine wether the data collected was reliable, decoding it, and find out what it says. It was notorious for being the most boring order, but was one of the most important and high-paying. They usually did not work in the field, but examined the information in labs and other locations.

Order of Intelligence

The Order of Intelligence was the order responsible for espionage on behalf of the Inquisition. It was made up of spies, placed deep under cover, as well as infiltrators who were sent onto quicker, more straightforward assignments. The data provided by them was reviewed by the Order of Analysis before it was given to the Armed Forces of Paradise Island. As analysts recalled, the Order of Intelligence's data was not always accurate either.

Order of Counterintelligence

The Order of Counterintelligence, nicknamed the Manipulators, was the order that eliminated any spies in the Inquisition and other Imperial agencies, but not before loading them with false information, something they were notorious for. They were regarded as some of the best hackers in the Infinite Cosmos by several factions. As a result, anyone wanting to join the order had to have a great knowledge of computers and had to go through advanced training in holoprogramming.

Order of Investigation

The Order of Investigative was the order that specialized specifically in law enforcement and criminal investigation. They were known to do background checks on top Imperial officials as well. It was the only order that worked for the safety of civilians, and was also trained for the occasional Search and Rescue. The Order of Investigation had much presence in the Infinite Cosmos.
