Isaac Hoffman (born July 2, 1966) is a Sierran politician whose the 42nd and current Lieutenant Governor of Clark and was a member of the Clark Provincial Senate who represented the 17th Senate District from September 2010 until December 2018. Born in the province of Kings, Hoffman moved to Clark when he was twelve and has been a resident of Clark since then. A member of the Royalist Party, Hoffman is a member of the party's libertarian faction and has frequently worked with the Libertarian Party throughout his career.
During his career as a provincial senator, Hoffman was known for representing what was at the time a district known for being a hybrid of Royalist and Libertarian voters and ran on being a bridge between the two groups. As a result he won his first election in 2010 and his second term in 2015, though by the time of his re-election the 17th district had become more and more aligned with the Democratic-Republican Party. In the 2018 gubernatorial election, Hoffman was selected to by Georg von der Bellen to be his running mate and accepted the offer after Bellen secured the Royalist nomination for the governorship. After being sworn in as Lieutenant Governor, Hoffman said that he would continue to act as a bridge between the Royalist and Libertarian parties and would fight for Clark's traditionally conservative and libertarian political values. Politically, Hoffman identifies as a libertarian conservative being slightly conservative on social issues such as abortion, but favoring only limited regulation. He generally favors legalized gambling, same-sex marriage and easy access to narcotics.
