James Douglas West (January 1, 1969), is a Superian voice actor, comedian, and writer. He is best known for his work as a writer and the narrator for the English dub of the Capmon anime. He often collaborates with his sister, Sara West.

Career

James got his start thanks to his older sister, Sara West, who got him a writing job with Wunderbar Media and featured him in her stand up routines. His main job was to write ADR scripts, based on translations from Wunderbar's in house translation team. He did additional voices for Yakari and the final episode of Benjamin Blümchen, with his first credited role being in the English dub of the Japanese anime tv special Lupin III: A Close Call with Lady Liberty (ルパン三世 バイバイ·リバティー危機一発!, Rupan Sansei Baibai Ribatī – Kiki Ippatsu!), in which he voiced a Cab Driver. His first major role was in Wunderbar's dub of Lupin III: The Legendary Gold of Babylon (ルパン三世 バビロンの黄金伝説, Rupan Sansei: Babiron no Ōgon Densetsu), in which he voiced Daisuke Jigen, replacing his previous voice in Wunderbar's dubs, Chris Wolf.
