Lissama (Tagdamun: Lissama, Cienugueza: Lissama, Tsinsat: 暖地市), officially the City of Lissama, is a city in central Imanon that is the most-populated city of the state. As of 3390, the city has over 5.185 million inhabitants, making it one of the largest cities in Qenuga. The city is part of the Central Imanon Metropolitan Area, which consists of the cities of Sangisadun, Hulitkad, and Ubbingtam, all located at the confluence of the Araz and TBD rivers.
Lissama's rich history and heritage date back to as early as 2718 when it was one of the new cities established for the new Imanon state. Throughout the first half of the 28th century, Lissama was an economic powerhouse and became the center of the financial, retail, and transportation industries in Imanon. Many Taglissama served in the financial sector, with some being appointed as governors of the Chungganese Central Bank. The 29th century saw immense growth in the retail and information technology sectors, with many technological startups setting foot in Lissama. Despite its reputation as a financial stronghold, the city was the center of a prolonged statewide banking crisis in the 2940s due to funds mismanagement and poor corporate governance.
Today, Lissama retains its position in Imanon and in Qenuga as a powerhouse for the banking and financial industries. It is one of the richest cities in the state, with a GDP per capita of over $TBD as of the early 31st century.
