Marcel Jean Trudeau (born December 12th, 1969) is a Canadian politician who currently serves as the TBD President of the State of Canada, serving since 2014. Before becoming President, Trudeau was a member of the House of Commons for Barnaby South and the TBD Mayor of New Westminister.

Born in Vancouver, British Columbia to a French Canadian family, Trudeau would graduate from the University of British Columbia with a bachelor's degree in political science. After being a policy adviser to many political campaigns, Trudeau would enter politics in 2001, running and eventually being elected as Mayor of New Westminister. As Mayor, Trudeau pushed for progressive changes in the city, with New Westminister becoming the first Canadian city to legalize gay marriage in 2002. While mayor, he also promoted hate crime legislation, hoping to define hate crimes in the city and set the stage for federal hate crime legislation. During the 2009 Canadian federal election, Trudeau would run for a seat in the House of Commons, becoming the representative for Burnaby South later in the year.

As a member of the House of Commons, Trudeau continued to push for progressive legislation. Trudeau wrote and co-sponsored many bills, including the Fair Treatment Act of 2010, which legalized certain forms of affirmative action, the Greater Co-operation Act, which increased Canada's funding for the Conference of American States and other organizations the nation is apart of, and the Save our Environment Act, which would have banned gas-powered vehicles by 2022. In early 2014, Trudeau would declare his candidacy for President, running as a member of the Democratic Party. On Election Day, Trudeau would win a majority of the popular vote, becoming the TBD President of Canada.

As President, Trudeau has little to no political influence over the proceedings of the House of Commons and the Prime Minister, with most of his political power being largely ceremonial. However, Trudeau has overseen much change during his tenure as President. In 2015, the House of Commons passed the Legalized Act, which legalized the use of medical cannabis and allowed the exploration of legalizing recreational cannabis. In 2017, Trudeau oversaw and played a hand in creating a economic agreement with the rest of the Conference of American States, more prominently Superior and Astoria. In 2018, Trudeau was credited with the start of normalized relations with the United Commonwealth, Canada's historic enemy, and became the first Canadian President to visit the United Commonwealth in 2019, in a state visit to Chicago. In 2020, during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Trudeau became the first Canadian official to test positive for the virus in April, however he would have a strong recovery and be back at work in late May. In June 2020, after the start of the George Floyd protests, Trudeau called for better representation of minorities.

Politically, Trudeau is a social liberal and a social progressive. Trudeau is fully supportive of expanding protections and rights of minorities. Trudeau is also supportive of increased immigration to Canada, calling the nation a "melting pot of cultures". Trudeau supports decriminalizing recreational cannabis, believing the positive effects on the economic outweigh any negatives. He also supports raising the federal minimum wage to $15 and adding more regulations on businesses. On foreign policy, Trudeau supports greater participation in the Conference of American States, but does not support increased federalization. He is also supportive of lifting sanctions on the United Commonwealth and eventually normalizing relations. He is also against continued participation in the Syrian Civil War and other Middle Eastern conflicts.
