Markarth (Cyrodilic: Marcarth) is a city in the Reach of western Skyrim, near the headwaters of the Karth River. It is an ancient settlement, developed in and around the ruins of the Dwarven city of Nchuand-Zel (Dwemer: , "Radiant City").
