A worker's dream, Mbumbara is one of the lingering socialist states within Colytheus, save for Tihama, and their puppet states. Headed by chairman Anatole Kikosso, Mbumbara went through a socialist revolution in the eighties, supported by Tihama.

Mbumbara's population is predominantly Mbumbaran, however there is a small Tilari minority spread throughout the country. Mbumbaran citizens live in relative health, however government mistakes have caused growing discontent in Kikosso's government.

The Mbumbaran economy was heavily industrialized with assistance from Tihama and the UFRR, often being called the "FRB's Testbed", with how often technologies were tested in Mbumbara before being publiclly released.
