The Georgeland Minister for the Environment, Water and Climate Change is the member of the Georgeland Cabinet with responsibility for environmental policy and oversight of various environmental agencies. The Minister for the Environment is the head of the Department of the Environment, Water and Climate Change; like most government departments, its title and that of the relevant minister/s have altered over the years.

The first dedicated Minister fot the Environment was appointed in 1970. Prime Minister Victor Howard , upon his election as the first Labour prime minister in 12 years, created several new departments as part of an reform agenda, one of which was Environment. It has been historically combined with other portfolios including broadcasting, conservation, resources, water and climate change.

The present Minister for the Environment, Water and Climate Change is the Hon Jo Harland MP of the Georgeland Alliance , appointed to the position on 1 July 2019. She is assisted by the Hon. Kelly Knight MP, as Minister for Water Resources and Drought Relief.
