Nandi Mashaba (born 14 March 1959) is the 13th and current War Minister of the Hurian Federation, ascending to the post on August 17, 2009 after the resignation of her predecessor, Ibrahim Kourouma. Her tenure has been marked by her government's attempt to protect the Islamic Republic of Iran politically and militarily, and prevent the Israeli military from attacking its nuclear facilities. Mashaba has been highly active in Hurian politics for the last 30 years, and widely respected for her extensive law and military experience; her recent post having been that of Procurator of Justice.
Mashaba was the Sector Commander of her native Tamabarare between 1980-85, and stopped the attempted CIA-sponsered assassination of Supreme Commander Rollace Williams in 1983 during his tour of the sector. She has been a close friend of the Williams family every since, and gained her position as War Minister because of them. She is considered a very close friend of the current Supreme Commander, Maurice Williams. Mashaba has been counted as one of the most powerful women in the world, overseeing the world's largest military force, and one of largest stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction.
