Nansa Prefecture (Japanese: 南沙県 Nansa-ken) is a prefecture of Japan. It has a population of over 5.5 million spread over 100 islands, reefs, and islets totaling just over 350 square kilometers, making it the most densely population area in Japan. It is the southernmost and westernmost prefecture of Japan, and is the only prefecture located outside the main islands.
