The National Civil Police of Central America (Spanish: Policía Nacional Civil de Centroamérica, PNC) is the federal and national police of the Federation of Central America. The Constitution of Central America emphasizes civilian control over the police by the elected government, although it specifies that in wartime, it falls under the authority of the Ministry of Defense as the fourth branch of the military, the "Civil Defense." Every state of the federation also has its own state police, but the PNC serves every state as well to enforce federal law. It was established in January 1986, after the police agencies of the preceding five Central American republics were reformed, to maintain public safety and to maintain law and order in every part of the Federation of Central America.

It is one of the two principal law enforcement agencies in the country, the other one being the Civil Guard.
