Nicole Faulkner (born June 13th, 1958) is a Rainian politician that is the current leader of the Reform Party and the Leader of the Opposition.

Born in the province of Idaho, Nicole moved to the province of Montana when she was 3 and grew up in the region eventually settling down in Helena where she remains to this day. Originally, she grew up in a household that was supportive of the National Union Party and had initially voted for the party, but grew more and more disillusioned with it before joining the Reform Party in 1984. She registered as a Reform Voter in 1985 and voted in the House of Councilors election that year. In 2014, she was elected to be a Member of Parliament representing West Montana, a position she holds to this day, and has been running on the Reform Party ticket since her 1990 election. In 2014, she was elected to succeeded Peter Cedric as leader of the Reform Party and ran in the 2017 House of Councilors election where she won second place and later became Leader of the Opposition in October 2017.

Since becoming leader of the Reform Party, she's been called the "leader of the Rainian right" by inside and outside observers and has made the party's attention be centered around immigration and away from its economic liberal roots. She continues to call for stricter rules and regulation to immigration into Rainier, being called the leading anti-immigrant advocate in Rainier, and has called for preparing relations with many foreign countries, most notably the Eurasian Commonwealth and Manchuria, countries where she's praised their leaders and ruling parties for nationalistic tendencies. Many of her critics have accused her of being racist, xenophobic and promoting nativism, but Faulkner has dismissed such claims and says that she's a "simple rational-minded nationalist" and says she's only concerned over unregulated immigration and nothing more.

Political positions

Nicole Faulkner identifies as a right-wing populist, anti-establishment politician wanting to represent what she calls "the forgotten man and overlooked voters of the country". Faulkner refers to herself as a national conservative, but has many paleoconservative views and tendencies. She's a frequent critic of Rainier's immigration policy and has been described as Rainier's "most vocal anti-immigrant activist". Faulkner has spoken at many right-wing events and gatherings and has been described as the "darling" of the Rainian right and has gathered support outside of Rainier in neighboring Sierra.

Immigration and race

Faulkner has been vocal in her criticism of Rainier's current immigration policy and has been the most vocal critic of immigration in the country. While the Reform Party historically has been critical of Rainier's immigration and has called for tighter restrictions, Faulkner has increased the vocality and frequency of the party's opposition to immigration and has increased its support for tighter immigration controls over other policies such as economic liberalism. Faulkner has accused Rainier's government of allowing "unregulated hordes" of migrants into the country and has accused such policies of "tainting and polluting" Rainier's national identity and has called for tighter controls. She's opposed to allowing large numbers of refugees from Middle Eastern countries such as Pashtunistan, Pakistan, and Iraq and has called for what she calls "cautious observance" of immigration from East Asian countries such as China, Manchuria and Korea.
