The Obsidian Guard is the foremost military organization of Xyon. It is responsible for the protection of Xyon's national interests, as well as protecting Mikaeans around the globe in accordance with the Constitution of Xyon, countering external and internal threats to Xyon's stability, and assisting civilian authorities during times of natural disaster. The Obsidian Guard has a total force of 501,984 active personnel, and another 348,741 in reserve, and is commanded by the Directorate of War during peacetime through its head official, n/a.
