After the Apocalypse, the population and the military of the Palaedonii was divided up into six segments, each with their own lifestyle and government. Some despise each other, some remain on good terms, and some have even struck alliances with each other. In the words of the Duelliki General; 'the politics of the Segments are a curious and confouding affair, and should only be entered into when there is war at stake'.
