The Roman Empire, commonly known as Rome or more rarely Rhomania, was a superpower state in Afro-Eurasia, also having overseas colonies in the Americas at certain points in Rome's history. The Roman Empire was founded by Emperor Augustus in 27 BC and would last until the Roman Revolution (1924-1927), where the Roman Empire fully collapsed in 1926. Rome's main enemies were the Tang Empire of China and the United Provinces of Columbia, the latter declaring independence from Rome itself in the 1770's. Rome had the Emperor, who was the head of state, and the Mesazon, who led the Senate and the Government. Rome was considered one of the worlds two great superpowers, along with China, its arch rival. By the 1920's, political parties ruled the Roman Senate. The four big ones were the Fascists, Populares, Optimates, and Communists.
