The Rorks (Roukus alphii) are a species of vaguely squid-like sentients native to the habitable moon Kebo, the largest natural satellite of the gas giant Niran. A technologically advanced race and one of Polytinaris’s three native spacefaring civilizations, the rorks are most visibly distinguished from their neighbors (the Aerlons and the Gesmians) by their massive bulbous heads and their short, stout body structure. In the year 2100, the total rork population numbered somewhere around 90 billion individuals.
