The 4. Panserbrigade is a formation of the Kongelige Hæren. It was formed in 1963 to reinforce the german border. It is headquartered in Tønder and attached to the 5. Panserdivisjon.
Brigade Composition
- AB4 Signal Company
- 19th Armoured Cavalry Battalion, operates in the armoured role and is divided into 3 Tank Companies with 20 Kpv-122 each
- 20th Armoured Cavalry Battalion, operates in the armoured role and is divided into 3 Tank Companies with 20 Kpv-122 each
- 21th Armoured Cavalry Battalion, operates in the formation reconnaissance role and is equipped with vehicles from the CV90 family
- 22th Armoured Cavalry Battalion, operates in the formation reconnaissance role and is equipped with vehicles from the CV90 familiy
- 5th Fusiliers Battalion, operates in the light infantry role and is equipped with APCs and general purpose vehicles
- 14th Engineers Battalion
- 18th Logistic Support Battalion
- 14th Artillery Battalion, operates in the field artillery role and is equipped with M109 A3GN self-propelled 155 mm howitzer and Anti Air weapons
