The Antarktis Flotilje (Antartic Flotille) is a named fleet of the Sjøforsvaret. The mission of the Antarktis Flotilje is to conduct the full range of Maritime Operations and Theater Security Cooperation missions, in concert with coalition, joint, interagency, and other parties, in order to advance security and stability in the Antarctic Area.
Main goal or the flotille is to ensure Skandinavian presence in the Antarctic regions to exercize sovereignty over the Skandinavian antarctic territories.
