Sky News Prillovania, commonly referred to as just Sky News, is a Prillovanian free-to-air television news channel, live-streaming network, and news organization. It is owned by Sky Group, and serves as the Prillovanian counterpart to the original Sky News.
Like its Englaterran counterpart, Sky News Prillovania delivers round-the-clock news coverage, featuring live updates and various news-related programs, all broadcasted in the Prillovanian language.
History
The channel first launched on March 31, 2003. On December 16, 2009, it transitioned to digital terrestrial television (DTT), officially becoming a free-to-air channel. In 2011, it hosted the debate between Karlos Gallo and Patrick Moss during the 2011 Prillovanian presidential election.
In August 2019, Sky News Prillovania began live streaming its content on YouTube. A year later, in August 2020, it upgraded to high-definition satellite broadcasting, while standard-definition continued on DTT until April 2022.
