Politics

The Constitution of South China serves as the supreme law of South China, which establishes a clear separation of powers. However for much of its history South China was an autocracy. From 1945 Cantonia was ruled as a single-party military junta that ended in 1985 following peaceful street protests around Cantonia that became known as the Orchid Revolution. In 1990 Cantonia adopted its current constitution, becoming a democracy.

Government

South China has separation of powers. The executive branch is headed by the President whilst legislative power is vested in the bicameral Supreme National Assembly, led by the Premier.
