Porciúncula is a center for the Sierran passenger rail system, with Union Station (Los Angeles) being the busiest train station on the West Coast. There are passenger trains linking it to San Diego in the south, Santa Barbara, California to the north, and the province of Inland Empire to the east, which connect to many other destinations beyond that. Brightline is a high-speed train that also links the capital to several other cities.
There are several rail yards in Downtown Porciúncula, which are connected to the ports by the Alameda Corridor, a 20-mile freight rail expressway that passes under many roads before returning to ground level at the rail yards, allowing trains to avoid grade crossings. Most of the track is owned by Royal Pacific Railroad, though it has partnered with the Joillet, Topéque and Santa Fe Railway, which has been granted joint trackage rights on part of the line around the ports.
