State Center is a station in the City Loop of the Londinium Subway in Londinium, Forriedor, Ivalice. It is located at 124 Whitehall Avenue (also known as State Plaza) at University Street, and opened in 1951. The station is wheelchair-accessible, and has underground connections to Forriedor state government buildings. North of the station, the tunnel curves slightly east around the State House. State Center is the "terminus" for all inbound trains. All trains headed in the direction of downtown are signed "State Center", and trains going out of service downtown stop service at State Center station. Trains remaining in service continue around City Loop before heading away from the city.
There are two exterior entrances to State Center, one at the intersection of Whitehall and University, and one at the Freedom Fountain between the State House and the Executive Office Building. There are also several underground connections to government buildings in the area, such as the Executive Office Building and the Department of Public Safety headquarters.
