Sunshuden Palace

The Sunshuden Palace (春秋殿) is the executive office and official residence of the Surean head of state, the President of the Republic of Surea. Located at Kishuu ward in Konggei, the house was designed by Chinese-born Wei Li. It has been the residence of every Surean President since the Fourth Republic. The Surean name literally translates to "Palace of Spring and Autumn". The Sunshuden Palace is in fact a complex of buildings, built largely in the traditional Surean architectural style with some modern elements.

The palace now consists of the Presidential Executive Residence, Main Office Hall (本堂), West Wing, Cabinet Room, East Wing, the State Reception Hall (迎賓堂), the Sento (宣和堂) Press Hall, and the Secretariat Buildings. The entire complex covers approximately 72 acres. The palace is made up of six stories - the Ground Floor, First Floor, Second Floor, and Third Floor, as well as a two-story basement.
