Tediland (English IPA: /ˈtɛdɪˌlænd/, Tedilandic: Tjédisia (Tedilandic IPA: /ˈtjeːdisɪˌɘ/)), officially the Republic of Tediland (Tedilandic: Répob a Tjédisia), is the largest country on Central Island and in the Tediverse.

Etymology

'Tediland' comes from a modified version of the Tedilandic word for 'central people' - "Tjéndin" - and the English suffix "-land". This means that 'Tediland' means 'Land of the Central People'.

History

Early Years (182 AD - 300 AD)

Mják Dénol, a visionary leader, established the nation of Tediland in 182 AD. Inspired by democratic principles and a desire for self-governance, Dénol led a successful revolution against foreign rule, uniting various regions and peoples under the banner of Tediland.

In the early years of Tediland's existence, Mják Dénol implemented a series of democratic reforms. These included the establishment of a representative government, the drafting of a constitution outlining the rights and responsibilities of citizens, and the formation of an independent judiciary to uphold the rule of law.

The Stability Era (300 AD to 800 AD)

Tediland experienced a period of expansion and stability during this era. Through diplomatic negotiations and occasional military campaigns, the borders of Tediland were gradually expanded, incorporating neighboring territories and diverse cultures into the nation. This period also witnessed advancements in infrastructure, trade, and the arts, fostering economic growth and cultural exchange.

The Enlightenment Era (800 AD-1700 AD)

The Enlightenment era had a profound impact on Tediland. Geography

The geography of Tediland is located on Central Island. It contains the Whestleri Savannah to the west, grasslands to the center, south, and north, and the Eastleri Forest to the east.

Rivers

Tediland contains many rivers, including the River Skerik, River Poynt, River Whestler and River Ledkeil.

Mountains

There are no major mountains in Tediland, but they do exist, such as Mount Noffpoynt on the north of the River Poynt.
