- Mexico–Sierra relations, El Norte dispute
- The Cabinet of Mexico releases a joint statement condemning the establishment of Bajaria within the El Norte territories calling it "the most agregious and open attack on Mexico's territorial integrity and sovereignty". President Pablo Hidalgo de Veracruz states that he will not revoke Mexico's territorial claims to the El Norte region and refuses to recognize the new constitued country.

- Bajaría is officially established and is declared the newest constituted country of the Kingdom of Sierra. It composes all of Sierra's territories in the El Norte region, all of which have become states and are granted full representation in Parliament.
