The Aztláni Movie and Video Agency (AMVA) is an agency of the Aztláni government tasked with the Censorship and regulation of Various Movies and Video media released in Aztlán. The Council of the T.F.R.S.O proposed the Establishment of AMVA on November 19, 2009; it Began operation of December 11, 2009, after the Council of the T.F.R.S.O an executive order. The order establishing AMVA was ratified by committee hearings in the Senate of Aztlan. The agency is led by its administrator, who is appointed by the council every 20 years. The current administrator is Antos Dembitski. The Agency has its headquarters in San Jose, and region offices for each of the Agency's 3 regions. South California, North California, and Nevada.

The agency conducts censorship, regulation, and various tests on Movies and Videos released in the country of Aztlán. It has the responsibility of maintaining and enforcing national standards under a variety of Media-related laws, in consultation with State Governments, but also not in consultation with State Governments in certain instances. It delegates some permitting, monitoring, and enforcement responsibility to the States of Aztlán. The agency also works with the Movie Industry and all levels of government in a wide variety of Censorship and Pro-Communist Media enforcement. Although, at times they do accept some movies that don't support such ideals when its excused as Historical. Such as portrayals of the Soviet Union and China.

The agency's budgeted employment level in 2013 is 14,923.3 full-time equivalent (FTE). More than half of the AMVA's employees are engineers, video editors, movie producers, and directors; other employees include legal, public affairs, financial, and information technologists.

History

Background

The Senate of Aztlán met in several sessions to discuss Censorship of media that supported democratic and conservative ideals, leading to various ideas for what would eventually become The Aztláni Movie and Video Agency as we know it today.

Establishment

On November 19, 2009, Various members of the Council of the T.F.R.S.O proposed an organization that consolidated the various discussions around censorship into one Agency. Gloria La Riva, the Secretary of State for Región del Capitolio supported the creation of this agency when it was proposed, including 9 other Secretaries of States. After conducting hearings during that fall, the Senate approved the Proposal. The AMVA was created 10 days before it had to operate, and opened its doors on December 11, 2009. The Agency's first administrator, Antos Dembitski, took the oath of office on December 12, 2009.

2000s

Late 2000s

On December 28, 2009, Antos Dembitski conducted a hearing that suggested the idea for an appeal system for Movies to gain budget from the Agency, and it was quickly accepted by the Senate, with 23 Senators out of 24 accepting it. The 1 outlier was Arnold Schwarzenegger, apart of the Acción Liberal por Aztlán party.

The AMVA is led by the Administrator, appointed by the Senate of Aztlan.

Regions

Creating 3 AMVA regions was an initiative that came from Administrator Antos Dembitski. Each regional office is responsible within its states for implementing the agency's programs, except those programs that have been specifically delegated to various states.
