The United Dominion of Virginia and Carolina, commonly known as the the United Dominion (UD) or Virginia is a sovereign nation southwest North America. It comprises Virginia, Kentucky, Chesapeake, Carolina. It borders Caraqua to the north, Canada to the northeast, the Atlantic Ocean to the east, the Confederate States of America to the south and Louisiana to the west.
The United Dominion is a unitary parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy. The capital and largest city is Arlington, located on the Potomac River

Roughly 89% of the population describes themselves as Christian, with the majority belonging to the Church of Virginia. The Church of Virginia is the established church of the United Dominion, and the monarch is the supreme head of the church. Other significant Protestant denominations, the Independent Methodists and Baptists, makeup roughly 26% of the Christian population in the United Dominion. According to the constitution, the practice of other religious traditions (including Roman Catholicism) is illegal.
