The Université Batavie (Dutch: Betuwe Universiteit, English: Batavia University) is a multilingual private comprehensive research university in Nouvelle Batavie, Acadia in Texas. The university is one of twenty-two universities that are part of the Alliance for the Preservation of the Dutch Language in the Americas (APDLA).
Université Batavie traces its origins as the Batavia Dutch Studies University in 1894. The school later incorporated the French language to boost admissions in 1951. The University is the largest non-religious private university in Texas and the third largest non-religious private university in North America.
