WARSAT
WARSAT (War Satellite) is a series of Armed Satellites belonging to Europa. WARSAT's were first created in the 1990s, but they were just regluar military satellites outfitted with R80 Missiles. The first true WARSATs were made around 2006. A much publicized test in 2007 launched a WARSAT onto a rocky isle in an impressive 7 minutes.
Conventional WARSATs
Europa has over 50 WARSATs and countless other communication, weather and civilian satellites that function as WARSATs.
Laser WARSATs
Since the creation of WARSATs in the 1990s many have claimed that some actually have laser weapons. THe government has refused to comment on this, and has avoided questions for a long time. National newscaster TV5 released a special report in June 2011 saying that WARSATS are indeed armed with laser weapons capable of hitting Earth-based targets in seconds. So far, the government has denied all claims but many still believe they exist.
