Nirn, also known as the earth, is the mortal plane and the ultimate focus of most activity within the universe.
According to prevailing cosmological models, Nirn is a spherical world in the center of the mundial void, a space it shares with two moons (Masser and Secunda), eight aedric spheres, and numerous smaller bodies.
The surface of Nirn is divided into five continents – Akavir, Atmora, Tamriel, Pyandonea, and Yokuda – which are separated by oceans and seas.
