History

The area of Courevice has been inhabited since prehistoric times. Its status as a trade nexus in the Adseia predates the Solcian Empire. The modern city was founded by Solcian emperor Trianimus at the site of an existing Irian settlement called Bithion. It was renamed Corevicium by Reomagnus. In the Middle Ages, the city was the capital of the Principality of Corevicia.
