The 2022 Chattanooga Pact military exercises were a series of military exercises by the Chattanooga Pact, specifically the United Commonwealth of Continental States (UCCS), United People's Committees (UPC), and Mexico, in the Caribbean, specifically in the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico that nearly encircled the maritime borders of the Antilles, officially the United Commonwealth of America (UCA). The exercises began on August 28 and consisted of live-fire drills, air sorties, naval depoloyments, and ballistic missile launches by the Continental Armed Forces and the military forces of both the Andes and Mexico. The exercises were held in response to the K.S. Opposition leader Kenneth O'Conner's visit to the Antilles.
The exercises began a day after O'Conner's visit to the Antilles ended and were a show of force to deter Sierran and CAS involvemnent in what the Continental government saw as interference in "internal Continental and American affairs" and to demonstrate the overall military power of thre Chattanooga Pact to both domestic and international audiences. The live-fire exercises were unprecedented in recent history and took place near the Antilles' most important international maritime and aviation trade and travel routes in the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico. The exercises were condemned by members of the G20, the Conference of American States, the European Community and other pro-CAS political and international organizations. The exercises were seen as an act of major escalation in the ongoing conflict in the Caribbean.
The exercises ended on September 8 with the Chattanooga Pact announcing that the exercises have layed the foundation for a future military operation in counter Operation Poseidon's Watch by the United Commonwealth Armed Forces on the Antilles.
