The 2022 Sierran provincial elections were a series of general elections held across 17 PSAs for control over their legislatures and governorships. A total of 8 elections will be held in Federal Sierra, 5 will be held in Bajaría, 3 will be held in Hawaii, and 2 will be held in the Deseret. Elections are set to begin on March 6, 2022 with the Channel Islands, Cancún, Mérida, Pacífico Norte, Pacífico Sur, and New Onieda, Sweetwater, and South Sonora and are scheduled to end on December 8, 2022 with Clark. Due to differing election laws, general elections may rescheduled by their respective local governments for any reason.
The high visibility of governors and provincial/state legislators during the COVID-19 pandemic has seen the historically insignificant position be thrusted into the forefront of Sierran politics, resulting in increased interest in Sierra's governorships, both by the public and political parties. A number of elections have been viewed as competitive in 2022 by political observers, largely seen as a product of the rapid political realignment started with the election of Social Democrat Susan Kwon and seen in the 2021 provincial elections. Along with that, a total of eight territories will be holding their first general elections, with all eight ascending as sub-national entities of their respected nation in 2021.
