The Conservative and Unionist Party of Bajaría (Spanish: Partido Conservador y Unionista de Bajaría) is a political party of Bajaría, a constituent country of the Kingdom of Sierra. The Conservative and Unionist Party was founded on March 6th, 2021, a day following the ascension of Bajaría as a constituent country. The party was founded after the unification of each of the previous five El Norte right-leaning and pro-Sierran political parties. The Conservative and Unionist Party is aligned with the federal Royalist Party, however it is not a Royalist affiliate party, running it's own independent candidates.
Founded in 2021, the Conservative and Unionist Party would be created following the ascension of Bajaría as a constituent country in the Kingdom of Sierra. The party is a result of a merger between the largest conservative, right wing, and pro-Sierran political parties of the former El Norte territories. The party would participate in its first election in May 2021, where it would come second place in Bajaría, placing behind the Progressive Democratic Party. However, in the 2021 Bajarían general election the party would receive a majority of seats in the Parliament of Bajaría, with party leader Carmen Silva-Reyes becoming the first First Minister of Bajaría.
As of 2021, the Conservative and Unionist Party holds 14 seats in the House of Commons and 6 seats in the Senate. In the Parliament of Bajaría, the party holds 62 seats and controls 2 out of the five governorships. Aligned with the Royalist Party, the Conservative and Unionists are apart of the Royalist-led opposition, which includes the Libertarian Party. The Conservative and Unionist Party is a member of the American Conservative Coalition holds TBD seats. The party has yet to participate in a American Parliament election, and will only participate in El Norte, the American Parliament constituency that encompasses all of Bajaría.
