An-Xileel

The An-Xileel are a nationalist Argonian faction and the current ruling party of Black Marsh. They rose to prominence during the Oblivion Crisis by organizing a successful resistance to the daedric onslaught and spearheading a counter-invasion of Oblivion. In 4E 1, An-Xileel supporters rebelled against the Imperial administration in Black Marsh, and seized the whole province by 4E 3, along with parts of Blackwood. They then took advantage of the destructive Red Year to invade a weakened Morrowind.
