Anthony D'Alessandro Malito (born July 28, 1965) is a former Continental politician who served as the president of the United Commonwealth and the general secretary of the Continentalist Party of the United Commonwealth. During his tenure, Malito was the de facto paramount leader of the United Commonwealth from 2018 to 2019. Malito was an outsider from the Continental establishment and his rise to power was unconventional. Malito gained prominence during the tenure of Jackson Rothko when he engaged in alarmist rhetoric regarding the future of the United Commonwealth, in light of the collapse of Communist China, and coined the term "historical nihilism" to describe academic viewpoints that undermined the Continentalist Party. During his leadership, Malito advanced Malito Thought and Continental nationalism, and pursued a foreign policy that was confrontational against the capitalist West. Malito also launched a large-scale anti-corruption campaign which saw the removal and dismissal of thousands of party officials and bureaucrats. Malito was ultimately removed from power in 2019 by the Central Committee on the grounds of corruption and party subversion and was stripped from all of his government and party titles.

Malito was born in Chicago, Illinois to a working class in the Southside of the city. During his early childhood he was involved in the Continentalist Party's youth program, and was a decretated. After graduating from the Continental University of Labor in 1988, he worked as a labor organizer in Chicago and Gary for the Continental Steelworkers. He was elected as the President of Steelworkers Local 1919 in 1998. After four years of increasing the productivity of the steel mills and promoting competitiveness, he declared his candidacy as committeeman for the National Committee. Beginning in 2002, he represented the Chicago neighborhoods of Hegewisch, East Side and Indiana's and Northwest Region as a committeeman of the Continentalist Party. In 2006, he won his race for Illinois's 11th district, representing Hegewisch and parts of Will County in the Central Congress.

Malito is show here preforming a hand gesticulation, which he on average preforms 19 times during a two minute period.

Malito lives in a three bedroom bungalow in Hegewisch, although he maintains a single room apartment at the National Dormitory. The descendant of two Italian immigrants, Malito's accent is heavily influenced by his parents and is fluent in Italian. His mother and grandmother reportedly do not speak English. Considered extremely expressive and accustomed to Italian gesticulation, one Continental political commentator claimed that Malito utilizes his hands much like a conductor does during a concert.

He is a fan of the Chicago White Sox and West Virginia Mountaineers. Throughout the majority of his life he has been a patron of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and since his selection as paramount leader has also supported the New York Philharmonic. In 2015 Malito attended a concert in Toronto featuring Drake and ASAP Rocky, which he claimed were both "great ambassadors of Continental culture".

During the 2021 state visit of Susan Kwon to the United Commonwealth, Malito hosted a city-wide picnic featuring Chicago cuisine. Prideful of Chicago's cuisine he has often dismissed the existence of New York pizza and hot dogs, claiming they are fictitious apparitions. According to internal sources from Kwon's delegation the General Secretary instructed the Prime Minister not to apply ketchup to a Chicago-style hot dog they were sharing. During a press event in which both Prime Minister Kwon and Malito were seen observing the construction of new housing in Chicago, Malito assumed the umarell stance and began providing suggestions to workers at the site.

Malito has consistently maintained a favorable opinion among those within and outside of the Continentalist Party. He is often portrayed as an aggressive authoritarian strongman by conservative organizations outside of the United Commonwealth.

Throughout his time in public office, especially after stepping down as Secretariat, Malito has adventured into the public sphere without security or for reason for travel. In 2017 and 2018 several photos of Malito alone in obscure cities in Ohio, Illinois and Missouri trended on Bubbler. It was discovered during a 2021 data breach that the General Secretary was arrested for street drifting in 1981, 1982 and 1991. In 2022 the former Secretary General was cited by a sheriff in Nauvoo, Illinois for street drifting.
