Barbara Gauss-Walton
Barbara Lynelle Gauss-Walton (b. September 22, 1970) is a Georgeland politician who is co-Deputy Leader of Vox and the leader of the party in the Senate. She is the younger sister of Vox's parliamentary leader, Janet Gauss and the aunt of People's Party of Long Island founder Damian Gauss.
Gauss-Walton was born in London, and moved to Georgeland in 1974. The family settled in Dannyburg. After attending the University of Long Island, Gauss-Walton graduated with a masters degree in communications and for a time operated her own public relations company, Dynamix. Gauss-Walton also worked as a graphic designer and adviser to politicians of the Green Party, of which she was a member until 2018.
Gauss-Walton was elected to the Senate in 2019, taking office as a Vox senator for the PPL on 1 January 2020. Initially, Janet Houlis served as the party's Senate leader, but when Gauss-Walton was elected co-deputy leader in February, she assumed that position as well.
Gauss-Walton is married to Stephen Gauss, who is the brother of her sister's husband. She was previously married to John Walton from 1995 to 2003, with whom she had two children.
