The Blessed Island is a sovereign island country near North America in the Atlantic Ocean, administered by the Roman Catholic Church, with the Pope as its head of state. Originally a Portuguese possession with the name "Bermuda", catholic Portugal donated the island to the spiritual authorities after the Papal States were absorbed by the new nationalist Italy in 1870.
