Claudia Samaniego Plaridel-Magsipoc (born August 24, 1966) is a Kalșerian politician currently serving as Representative for Janval, as well as Minister of Gender Equality and LGBT+ Rights. She previously served as mayor of New Rizal, Janval from 1999 to 2007.

Of Filipino descent, Plaridel was born and raised in Pag-asa, Janval. Her family is involved in Kalșerian politics and they were supporters of Liberal Democrats before transferring to Puwersas. Plaridel graduated with a degree of political science in University of Evalria. She worked as a social science teacher in Jose Rizal College of Kalșeri for eight years. Plaridel also contributed for charitable works in Kaagapay ng Kalaherenyo Foundation for helping the OFWs in the country.

Her political career began in 1999 when she condemned the arrest of Divina Magdayao on murder against Magdayao's employer. She ran for mayor of New Rizal, Janval under the newly-formed Puwersas at the same year and she won through landslide victory against Liberal Democrat Sarah Dowrey and Social Cooperationist Richard Sanchez. During her time as a mayor for eight years, she allow to use Filipino language at schools, offices, businesses, and media.

In 2007, Plaridel elected as a member of House of Representative from Janval. She implementing laws supporting the cultural preservation, environmental protection, gender equality, labor rights, and tackling racial discrimination. While in politics, she served as the main host of two TV shows from Kalnoy TV, Filipino Kalșeri at Service and Power of Women. In August 1, 2023, Jim Babich appointed Plaridel as minister of Gender Equality and LGBT Rights.

She married to attorney Carlos Magsipoc in May 3, 1994 on Santo Niño Church in Pag-asa, Janval. They have two children: Achilles (born 1994), a current mayor of New Rizal, Janval and Henrick (born 1997), an LGBT+ rights advocate and environmentalist. She is a member of Roman Catholic Church and a devotee of Santo Niño de Cebu.

Plaridel is one of the members of prominent Plaridel political clan. Her father is Vicente Plaridel, the former mayor of Pag-asa, Janval. Her mother is Isabel Samaniego, a newspaper columnist and former member of Pag-asa council. She have four siblings: Carmen, a former mayor of Pag-asa, as well as former member of House of Representatives from Janval and current TV host from Kalnoy TV; Johannes, the founder of Puwersas party; Alfonso, a news anchor for Balitang Kalnoy; Elvis, current member of Pag-asa council.

Prior entering politics, she is one of the volunteers of Kaagapay ng Kalaherenyo Foundation, which helps the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families in health, education, and welfare.
