Cuckoo is the Ninth EP by the British electronic musician Richard D. James. It was released under the Psuedonym Aphex Twin on 11 November 2011 on exactly 11:11:11. It received critical acclaim and peaked at number one in multiple Electronic record charts, and it's Track, Cuckoo (2011 Remaster) won a Grammy for "Song of the Year".
Background
Cuckoo is meant as a remaster + soundtrack album for the track "Cuckoo" on his series of Analogue Bubblebath Albums for the Movie "Evangelion Rebuilt 1", and featured on the "Evangelion Rebuilt 2" Album.

Cuckoo was surprised-released on 11 November 2011 at 11:11 A.M. on Warp's Official Website. It was made available through 12-inch records, Digipak CDs, and a Digital Download in various Formats, including MP3, WAV, and FLAC.
Critical Reception
At Metacritic, which assigns a normalised rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, Cuckoo received a high score of 91, based on 15 reviews, indicating "Extremely Positive Reviews".
Accolades
Cuckoo won a Grammy Award for Song of the Year at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards in February 2012; sales of the album in the US increased 271 percent following James' win. Cuckoo was nominated for IMPALA's European Independent Album of the Year and shortlisted for the 2015 Choice Music Prize for Irish EP of the Year, winning both
