Dreamworld is the debut studio album by Sierran rapper Krash. It was released on November 8, 2019 by La Familia Records and distributed through Imperial Worldwide. The album was produced mostly by long-time collaborator Avaghio and Krash, along with Brxly, R3giii, GoATenz, LDAR, and Blaxkface Killer. Recorded over a year-long period in several studios, the album features more introspective lyricism, including Krash's thoughts on his rise to fame, religion, the death of one of his friends, his estrangement from his family, drug abuse, and depression. Featured appearances include Naomi Skeldon, 6enesis, Splash Godd, Gloxk G, Joan Becker, King Keem, 17 Cliipper the Red God, Blaxkface Killer, 600Gz, and Bacchus.
Following the breakthrough success of his third mixtape Strictly 4 My Bloodz (2018), Krash would suffer from depression after the death of his childhood friend Keenan Bonner in May 28, leading to him to suffer from writer's block as well as burn-out. He would eventually leave 17 Cliipper the Red God's Gotcha Bitch tour in June, later retreating from the public spotlight. After spending time abroad in the Netherlands, Krash would engage in heavy drug use with his friends, returning to Plainsfield in November to begin recording sessions after becoming inspired by the culture.
Recording for Dreamworld would begin in November 2018, though during the recording process, would executive produce the La Familia debut album, Omertà (2019), as well as tour from April 23, through August 4, 2019. Executively produced by Krash himself and long-time collaborator and producer Avaghio, Krash described the recording process for the album having taken place in two different places, with early recording sessions with Avaghio and BreeZee ultimately "composing the first half" of the record, with the "second half" being recorded during the Omertà tour up until the week of release. After releasing the promotional single "Leaving Skraps" on October 11, Krash would announce the album's title, revealing it's tracklist in addition to releasing the lead single, "Gotta", accompanied by its music video.
