The Eye of Magnus is a symbol associated with magic and divine protection in many Tamrielic cultures. It is named after Magnus, the solar god of magic.
Use
The Eye of Magnus is often used as a logo for magical institutions, including the Mages Guild (along with its descendants, the Synod and the College of Whispers) and the College of Winterhold.
