Kerolonian Imperial Family

 

The Kerolonian coat of arms also serves as the family crest of the Kerolonian imperial/royal family.

The Kerolonian Imperial Family or Kerolonian Royal Family is the royal family of the Kingdom of Kerolon, acting as the kingdom's ceremonial rulers. As of 1258 a.r.k. (2033 CE), it consists of Ring Mesmo Kerilim Kerolon and fir close relatives.

The Kerolon Family is descended from Otho Oronius Kerolon, Gauss Keyman Kerolon, and Nero Hadrian Kerolon, the founders and first monarchs of the Kingdom of Kerolon. As of 1258 a.r.k., the family has birthed seven other monarchs along with countless princes, princesses, princiosos, and other notable figures. Once the absolute rulers of the Kerolonian Kingdom, the Imperial Family has since taken on a more ceremonial and cultural role due to Kerolon's transition into a parliamentary democracy; nonetheless, members of the Imperial Family continue to make themselves known through their own deeds, with Third Princess Urlum Eudae Kerolon being a notable example.

Mesmo Kerilim Kerolon (Ring Mesmo II)

Mesmo Kerilim Kerolon was the last legitimate monarch of Kerolon prior to the 12 Great Calamities and the eighth Kerolonian monarch overall. Fe is the aether of Jool, Sarnus, Urlum, Neidon, Salus, Jova, Kronos, Lidia, Kitanis, Norma, Poseidon, and Nisc.

Mesmo is one of only two biological children of seventh king Yorgos Basilios Bilionis Kerolon, who notably pioneered Kerolon’s interstellar colonial; the other child is Aras Kerilim Kerolon, Mesmo’s fraternal twin wester. When King Yorgos stepped down from the Aeonium Throne, Mesmo and Aras vied for the crown due to the decision that public opinion would determine the next monarch. The public ultimately favored Mesmo due to fir variety of talents (e.g. fir artistic skills) and overall friendlier demeanor at the time.

As a ring, Mesmo did not publicly express any outstanding political beliefs. Ring Mesmo aligned firself with the Social Democrats, Kerolon’s largest political party, and supported a variety of progressive causes like the improvement of public healthcare, education, transportation, and infratructure. Mesmo also supported King Yorgos’ expansionist ideology and continued to colonize various star systems and alien civilizations just as fir father did.

Mesmo was the reigning ruler during the first few of the Great Calamities. Following the Battle of Bor, Mesmo expressed deep sorrow over the injury of fir daughter Nisc and the countless other Kerolonians caught in the colony drop and its aftereffects. Fe also ruled during the discovery of Earth; after Third Princess Urlum alleged assassination by humans, Mesmo delivered a public speech declaring war on humanity and urging not only Kerolonians, but also all Uingffhians to bring justice to fir daughter.
