The Kingdom of Kerron, also known as the Empire of Kerron or simply Kerron, is a parliamentary monarchy hailing from the Infrésseian System (human name: Gliese 105). It is one of the many alien civilizations conquered by the Empire of Perun, and its dominant species were the cat-like Tavréians native to Winfrésseia, the second major moon of the gas giant Théron, the latter in turn being the third planet of the star Infrésseia (human name: Gliese 105 A). At its height, the Kingdom controlled 12 entire star systems and had a minimal presence on 4 other systems.
Prior to the formation of the Kingdom, Tavréian society existed as a "modern" societal state similar to the humans of Earth prior to the formation of the Empire of Perun. However, a devastating invasion from the fish-like Díleans native to the neighboring moon of Dílea during the late 980s AD/CE generated millions of Tavréian casualties. This prompted the rise of Tavréian-supremacist movements like the Proud Tavréians and the Order of Tháretta (after a prominent war hero who was killed during the initial Dílean invasion), which stereotyped the Díleans as "barbaric monsters" full of "degeneracy and filth" and wished to "cleanse" Tavréian society from the "evils" of leftist movements like liberalism and communism that according to them prompted weakness and vulnerability. These movements gained widespread popularity within the Tavréians and eventually gained control of all of Winfrésseia's landmass in the Earth year 995. The Winfrésseian nations then merged into a single country in the Earth year 999, and the new era system a.t.k was created in order to honor the date of the formation of the Kingdom. The monotheistic religion Hoviority, which worshipped Winfrésseia's parent planet Théron as the god Hovior, was cemented as the official religion of the Kingdom as the first incarnation of the Kingdom secured its control over Winfrésseia.
In the Earth year 1004, in revenge for the Dílean invasion, the Tavréians invaded Dílea by first redirecting the small dwarf planet Dhihánnon into an orbit around Théron and then deliberately crashing the dwarf planet onto the Dílean surface. The impact not only killed millions of Díleans and generated a mass extinction on the moon, but also crippled Dílea's defenses to the point that Kerron easily invaded and conquered it within the span of a few years. The surviving Díleans were subject to brutal slave labor, oppression, and exploitation under their Tavréian masters as more and more Tavréians settled on the moon and introduced invasive Winfrésseian species in the process, which in conjunction with the mass extinction that was happening already caused 99.92% of native Dílean clades to perish. This was by far the worst man[2]-made extinction known to universal records. Eventually, in the Earth year 1293, the Díleans revolted against their Tavréian masters and launched a successful coup d'état which deposed the Kerronese government and formed the democratic, egalitarian Théronian Federation in its place, which treated Díleans and Tavréians with mutual respect and controlled Théron's moon system as well as its L4 trojan Tértinvon, which contained no native intelligent life forms but was nevertheless colonized by both Díleans and Tavréians.
The Théronian Federation prospered until a major economic recession hit the country in the Earth year 1580. Many older Tavréians[3] held on to supremacist views even after the first instance of the Kingdom was dissolved, and thus blamed the recession on poor management by the "degenerate" Díleans, even though the Díleans were impacted the most by the recession. On January 6, 1581, Tavréian supremacists entered the parliamentary building of the Théronian Federation and demolished it, causing the Federation's government to collapse and the second and final incarnation of the Kingdom of Kerron to be formed. During this time, the younger generation of Tavréians revolted and demanded that the Kingdom democratize, which was granted as the Kerrontéllah was formed. However, the monarchy was retained but performed a strictly ceremonial role. During the subsequent Age of Freedom, the Kingdom entered into a golden age, its technology and culture flourished, and the Kingdom started to colonize the parts of the Infrésseian system outside of Théron's orbit, with the Kingdom eventually gaining control over the system in the Earth year 1649.
The Age of Freedom would eventually come to an end, however. Initially, the Kingdom would pass laws guaranteeing equal rights between Tavréians and Díleans and many Kerronese royals publicly apologized for violating the rights of non-Tavréians. The Kerrontėllah later passed laws restricting the rights of non-Tavréians over the next few Earth centuries. Eventually, the Age of Freedom would come to an end in the Earth year 1819, when the Kerronese royals, supported by the vast majority of the Tavréian population, launched another coup d'état which radically reshaped the Kingdom's culture and political structure. The Kerrontéllah maintained its core functions, but lost a significant portion of its power in favor of the royal family. The Kerrontéllah then became essentially a dictatorship for non-Tavréians as voting was restricted to any and all Tavréians only. Additionally, the monarch gained the ability to declare war with the approval of at least 2/3 of the Kerrontéllah's members. A significant amount of totalitarianism became present in the Kingdom post-coup, with the government gaining control of thought and expression.
In the Earth year 1830, the Kingdom revoked all citizenship rights from Díleans and sent them to concentration camps where they would be brutally worked to death, experimented, and exterminated. During the following Earth decades, an estimated 99.89% of the Dílean population was killed and the Kingdom began looking for other systems to colonize. The Kingdom's citizens viewed colonizing other star systems as a virtuous mission to "purify" the universe from degeneracy and decadence. However, Kerronese colonization of other systems would come into a roadblock in the Earth year 2109, when the Kingdom attempted to colonize the Alpha Centauri system only to find out that the system had already been colonized by humans belonging to the Empire of Perun, a totalitarian dictatorship similar to Kerron in nature. Though the Empire sent a diplomatic envoy to Kerron's capital in order to resolve conflict, the Kingdom refused to collaborate with the Imperial envoy, assassinated him, and declared war. Soon after, Kerron captured Rigil Centaurus' companion stars, and the Empire launched the Remove Kebab Plan, which was designed to conquer most Kerronese systems within a few months. However, the plan failed, and the Empire was forced to adapt by unveiling the newly-created Vodka-class Destroyers. This helped the Empire liberate Alpha Centauri and re-launch the Remove Kebab plan.
The only Kerronese system that remained out of the Empire's control was its homeworld, Infrésseia, which surrendered after a lengthy siege which lasted for several months. All of Kerron's star systems were directly annexed into the Empire of Perun. However, the Tavréians were not exterminated, and instead were sent into forced labor and put into a caste system, where newly-discovered alien species were ranked and assigned various tasks depending on their biology. The Tavréians were relegated to tasks of grabbing objects that are impossible to reach for a human (due to their exceptionally long wing-tentacles) and detecting ultraviolet radiation (due to their tetrachromatic vision, being similar to birds on Earth).

- ↑ Ascension Throne Kerronia, the era system officially used by the Kingdom of Kerron. Its year zero is calibrated to the year 999 in the AD/CE system.
- ↑ "man" in this context refers to any sentient being.
- ↑ Tavréians age four times slower than humans and can live to up to 400 years old. This means that cultural shifts within the species take place gradually over hundreds or possibly thousands of years.
