List of Presidents of Georgeland

This is a list of Presidents of the United Islands of Georgeland from 1929 until the present day.

Prior to 1929, Georgeland was a constitutional monarchy with the crown represented by a Governor-General, all of whom were British aristocrats. From 1929 to 1957, and again from 2008, the president has been elected by universal adult suffrage and may represent a political party. Between 1957 and 2008, the president was appointed by a two-thirds majority of a joint sitting of parliament for a four-year term.

This list includes people who have been Acting President. In all cases, the Acting President has been the most senior (longest-serving) state governor when the presidency falls vacant. Only four people have been Acting President under these circumstances; Charlotte Lang held this position twice. This list does not include people who were acting as president during periods the incumbent was recused or out of the country; this role also falls to the senior governor, but the office is referred to without the capital letters - acting president.

The presidency is currently vacant and East Mainland governor Linda Nguyen is Acting President. She is the first person of East Asian descent to hold presidential powers.
