This list includes member states of the Global Alliance for Mutual Cooperation, states with limited recognition, and other entities that meet the criteria of a sovereign state under international law. The status and recognition of these entities can vary widely, with some being acknowledged by the majority of the international community and others only by a few. This compilation serves as a comprehensive reference to the existing sovereign states in the world today.
